View attachment 767095 I'm thinking of going to look at one to use as a rider this summer , just wondering if anyone has/ had one on what the quality is on these . Thanks
I believe it was 1997, I recall seeing ads in Hemmings Motor News magazine.
I have the 1986 Columbia RX-5 reproduction which I bought at a very good price.
In spite of the rough butt-welds on the rims, the crank and sprocket which were left
rough, the bike has held up very nice.
I’ve read that the original dies used to make some of the ‘50s parts were still around
which were used to stamp out the parts so they were exactly like the originals. I ride
it all the time. It’s very comfortable and everyone always pays me a compliment when
they see it.
