Look Ma, No Hands!
This is the complete set of service bulletins issued from 1970 to 1980 with a few bonuses, in a Bauer Cycle Supply distributor catalog binder from the same era. Chicago Schwinn issued these to their dealers to address repair and mechanical issues, provide training on new technology, and known warranty issues. They are largely additions, changes, and corrections to supplement the Schwinn Service Manuals (like these early 70's service manuals)
All 99 bulletins that were issued in the 70's are present, in order. There are a few bonuses as well. There's a few 1980's bulletins (one is a 1985 Schwinn BMX Predator brake caliper bulletin), a few 1990's Schwinn bulletins, and three Shimano Technical Information manuals (one is for the Positron system), and a little fitness info.
Much of this is related to components from other manufacturers such as Sturmey Archer, Suntour, Shimano, Bendix, Campagnolo, Tuff Wheels, Air-Dyne, and Huret, making this a worthy bicycle mechanic reference for non-Schwinn bicycles as well.
*All of these collectibles came from a closed Schwinn dealer called Kings Cyclery in Casper, Wyoming that I bought out. Everything was ordered directly from the Schwinn factory.
Condition
Near mint. Bulletins are almost completely free of wear. Edges are crisp, pages are clean. There may be a few pages with tech info written on them, but primarily they are untouched. Binder is in excellent shape with just slight dirt stains on the outside.
