Correct Indian skirted fenders?

Look Ma, No Hands!
Looking in to buying them for my 1918 Indian split bottom bracket frame but want to make sure they are correct since all I am seeing online for Indian skirted fenders are one whole piece this one has a seem and look to be over lapped

Pretty sure I’ve seen that style of skirted fender on teen Excelsior’s....... can’t find the lit. Here is a picture of one from @ace . I’ll remove at his request......

Funky funny, mostly because the Excelsior shown appears to have the same vertically running seams on either side of the traditional fender adding the flare as seen on the Indian shown as well.

Then THIS Excelsior has the style I am selling with a horizontal seam at the fender brace point.

This sort of overlapping usage leads me to think we don’t know EVERYTHING but I’m eager to find some catalog mentions and info in the future.
