I think the only middleweights in '59 that came equipped with bow pedals were the Jaguar and Corvette. Pretty sure the Panther II had waffle block pedals, which i always found odd since it had all the other bells and whistles, same goes for the Deluxe Hornet.

If you look at the 1959 specs in the catalog it says the Panther II pedals are part # 6507. The Corvette and Jag pedals part number is 6507 and so is the Phantom and Traveler. Funny that the image of the Panther's pedals doesn't depict the bow pedals because they weren't used on the Panther.

Thanks for that. I was looking at the catalog and it didn't show bow pedals. Think the part number trumps that though.

Bringing this back up as I’m working on my ‘59 Panther II. The picture in the catalog shows bow pedals, looks like the large cap type with screws on either side of the bows, like what I have on my ‘58 Jaguar. Is this the right type for the part number listed, Pedal part number 6507?

The catalog specifies the bow pedal, part number 6507, just trying to confirm which bow pedal the part number relates to, from the catalog picture, looks like large cap bow pedal with the screws.

Here are the pedals on my ‘62 Corvette 5 speed, bow pedals no screws, and pedals on my ‘58 Jaguar, bow pedals with screws...guess I should just go look at the catalog for the ‘58 Jaguar and see if it lists 6507 as the part number, I’m too slow sometimes:)

Just brought home an original untouched 59 Panther II, waffle pedals.
I have a nice waffle pedal set, just need to get consensus on if they are right, why the ‘59 catalog shows bow pedals and list 6507 part number pedals...which I was taking from the earlier posts to be bow pedals.
