CT resident to Ship to WI

Have a bike with a very good friend in CT. It's been arranged to hand to someone able to ship it to Wisconsin for me as my friend hasnt the schedule ability to do so.

Shipping will be paid for in advance, I just need someone to pick it up and ship it to me here.

This new program they have doesnt notify of replies, which is a real killer.

The bike in question are in NEW LONDON, CT

Out of curiosity, how would I be sure the label is correct to ship the bike without knowing weight and overall dimensions? This is a bit new for me, normally I just bring a bike to the LBS and have it shipped through them.
