Cruisin' on my Bluebird
Cushion or "Shockproof" stem as Sears Elgin called it.
This stem was manufactured and introduced in 1940 for the Miss America bike
Not correct for the RMS but you buy it and use on whatever bike you like.
NOTE: I was asked if this stem is real or reproduction but honestly I have no way of knowing that without comparisons. If there is a tell tail sign, please let me know otherwise let the pictures speak for themselves. I don't want to misrepresent anything.
