I wish I could answer your questions but I had the badge made and painted by the same person who use to post his services on this site.

I cant remember his name but I believe he was in Puerto Rico. Very honest person to deal with and his work was nothing short of fantastic. The results exceeded my expectations.

The badge was made of brass and I do believe the paint is enamel though.
