Cruisin' on my Bluebird
I have this crankset I recently purchased, listed as CWC. It had the chainring I was after and the arm profile looked right for my prewar model I’m building.

My question is, how do you decipher the markings. My search for dating CWC crank arms did not yield anything. CWC experts, please chime in.

I personally have the sharp angle cranks on original bikes from early 37-40. I would use whatever you have available in 7" length.
I agree that would be simple enough and perhaps appropriate, but I’m hoping someone can shed some light on the coding cast into the cranks.

Does it identify it to a particular year? Do codes clarify it as a CWC crank as does the AS markings for Schwinn or SMB for Shelby?
