Did Schwinn ever make a bike with Cycleplane graghics on the tank or was this someone's creation. Frame does not look like a DD.

That's a custom job.
The amazing thing, is that entire motif is hand painted, and it looks as smooth as a decal.

this looks like the work of john weider who back in the day(1980's) did several Schwinn prewar motorbike and autocycle panels before decals were reproduced. the work was outstanding and every detail was captured-down to the spokes on the wheel-incredible! love the 'aerocycle' color theme!

You nailed it on the decal work. That bike resides in a long time off the grid collectors collection here in So. Cal. That's me in the ball cap admiring the hand painted decal.
