D.P. Harris serial number Montgomery Wards Hawthorne.

Trying to figure out the year of this bike. When I bought the bike, the ad said it was a 1938. Is there a data base for dp harris serial numbers?

I think there is, but DP Harris was the distributor and HP Snyder was the manufacturer. Check for Snyder or Rollfast.

Through them, I’m coming up with 1966. Pretty sure that I’d incorrect.

Originally I thought it was a CWC frame and with that serial number, I came up with 1940-41.

The span of years that it might be is 1936-1939. I recently bought a 1939 Snyder built bike and looks just like it.
