I just picked up this interesting Norwegian bicycle.
I am not sure if it is a keeper or not, is there much of a market for this one?

DBS made a lot of utility bikes for their domestic market, and I have one of their American export three speed lightweights from the 60's-70's. Thanks for the photos, because I've never seen one made for the 1950's American export market. Very interesting bicycle, but not many collectors here.

They mostly used Fauber cranks, which are harder to work on, but very durable. I can't tell what yours is from the photos alone.

I have this one. It has a carrying handle on the seat tube and a tool box with drawer under the rack, aluminum 650B wheels, late 1950s.

Not sure if Fauber-type threaded bottom bracket and crank parts might work to repair an antique/classic Great Western Mfg. bicycle?

I’ve been looking for one, especially a bigger one, for a while now. They’re kinda neat but I only want one because I’m part Norwegian

They are rare in our county so I like the odd. Collectors are drawn to odd things as the view the other bikes because it is a learning experience. At a high school dance, the Norwegian girl would get the most attention? I dated a Viking but she didn't have a sword.

Most Vikings would likely prefer an Iver Johnson bicycle over a Mossberg bike.

Here is a 1941 Swedish “King” ladies bike I did some work on for a friend. The craftsmanship and detail is very high. Light is not period correct and the Brooks saddle was put on for the pictures.
