Wondering, What makes a 60's - 70's De Luxe a deluxe?

usually chrome versus painted fenders, wheels as in Typhoon also an added front rack.
on the racer, the deluxe came with a yellow band 2 speed bendix rear hub.

Thanks for the reply, I've heard that but I have a breeze & Typhoon Deluxe that look to be pretty much original and they have painted fenders. Also there is a 67, 68 Typhoon Deluxe for sale near me that has painted fenders.

All of these bikes have yellow bands, and my 66 Typhoon has the front rack
