bought this stingray the other day, got a great deal. Here's the thing its been powdercoated metallic red, (nice paint) but it's got some god awful decals, super thick, and not authentic . I've already removed them! My question is , where can I find quality decals/water transfers etc. what is the best way to go about this. I usually only but original paint bikes, but this was a great deal. Thanks for any advice. (this is a 1975 Stingray)

What were those, vinyl stickers? Try Bicyclebones on eBay or Memory Lane Classics for decals.

Thanks alot. I just ordered the right water transfer decal set from bicyclebones!! I appreciate the advice. Now I just have to get em on there right.......

I always spray my decals with clear enamel.Spray can from ACE.I give them a couple light coats. This prevents the decal from coming apart when applied. This is important if the decals are old.
