Did the carbon fiber revolition.....

cause people to not only through out old style steel frame bikes but also clean out their garages of accumulated junk? Was this a say 5 year event and now it's run is over? I ask this as it seems several have asked where all the classic bikes went/did we find them all/ etc? Even some have said the big sale events have dropped off. We still find them but not at the same level as a few years ago......sam

I wouldn't point to carbon fibre per se'. I would say time would be the culprit .
