What are the differences between a 1955 Jaguar frame and a 1955 Corvette frame?

Jag takes wider rims/tires- heavy weight frame and Corvette is a middleweight frame

Thank you! If I measure in between the chain stays just at the edge of the rim, what will the 2 measurements be? In pounds, how much heavier is the Jaguar?

Something is not right. The measurement between the seatstays up at the curved fender bracket (like in your second picture) on my early '50s balloon frames is only 3 inches. The measurement down at the chainstays from side to side at the face of the rim is 3 3/16". Can you check the measurements on a 1955 Jaguar and a 1955 Corvette for differences?
