DIY inner tube patch

Self stick patch permanent? No bike shop here. Saw superglue and paper repair -

. I was thinking gluing piece of old inner tube w/rubber cement. Use some other type of glue? Vulcanizing kit effective but not readily available. Bike has 27 X 1-1/4 tires. Not interest in tubes that come with slime. Got old bike that had that. Carefully aired it up and it it blew up. Looked like the slime just rotted the innertube.

Took the tire and tube off this morning. Installed inner tube several weeks ago. It had pin hole near valve stem. Nothing rough inside the rim there. Tape is good also. Tried Peel and stick patch. Did not hold. Pin hole was very close to valve stem or else those patches are no good.

I had to peal the tube from inside of tire like it was stuck to it. No such problem removing the old tube. Tire is fairly new Pasela Panaracer 90 27 X 1-1/8, 1-1/4. Inner tube is Teravail 27 X 1-1/4, 700 20-28.

Old trick: sprinkle talcum powder inside tire and/or on tube before putting tube in tire.
