Does anyone recognize this chain ring?

    Hey guys does anyone recognize this chain ring? It's on a Rollfast but I'm pretty sure it's not correct.

    Thanks. I'd love to see some examples of it on a bike. I was 99% sure it didn't belong on that Rollfast.

    My 1916 Davis has this ring....or one like it.
    The ring in the picture doesn’t appear to have the “hobbed” indent. I am pretty sure the design pre-dates Davis.
