Hey guys does anyone recognize this chain ring? It's on a Rollfast but I'm pretty sure it's not correct.
Thanks guys, Chris

My 1916 Davis has this ring....or one like it.
The ring in the picture doesn’t appear to have the “hobbed” indent. I am pretty sure the design pre-dates Davis. I always thought maybe they picked it up from consolidated Manufacturing when they got Yale and Snell in 1916.

Davis No. 5 - think like 5-holes across, (including shaft hole, but not including drive pin hole), or think like the face of a die (dice).

As seen on Excelsior Michigan City Ind. bikes.
