New Mexico Brant

Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
George Washington Killin, Jr. from West Virginia held a patent on a pump action pedal designed bicycle. The patent was issued in Dec. 17, 1940. Does one exist anywhere? I would love to own one of these; what a cool design!

The frame is an intriguing style, to be sure, but I don't think this was ever commercially produced for sale. The treadle arrangement has, in various forms, been tried on any number of bike designs. I predict knee replacement surgery in the future of any enthusiast zany enough to ride one regularly.
