Presented here for auction is an exceedingly rare 1898-99 Schwinn The World Track Racer 30-tooth chainring. As shown in the 1899 Schwinn catalog (image below), gearing for the Schwinn World Track Racer Model 35 was 93 1/2 (30x9). Chainring sports a beautiful original finish with very minor spots of nickel loss including a partial circular rub on the backside. All mounting screws are present. I've made no attempt at cleaning or polishing, so you'll be free to clean it up or leave it as is to show some age. Ultimately, this item speaks for itself.
