Sold DOND - Davis Chief Project

For your consideration is a Chief (Davis Sewing Machine Co) project. This is something I've had for a long time and will never get to so letting it go. I'm not too familiar with this era of bike so let the pictures be your guide. This project includes everything you see. I do not have the wheel set unfortunately. Some details:

• Pedal blocks are repops off the cabe
• I believe the Pedals are period but not correct for a Davis…they came with the blocks.
• I believe the crank is correct with wrong snowflake chainring but have the proper chief ring.
• Everything looks straight.
• there is a little frame ding near the seat in the top tube (see pics)...most likely from the seat
• Included are the J hooks for the front fender mount to the steer tube
• seat chassis and plated parts were painted silver long ago
• frame and fork is in house paint red
• I don't believe the fenders are correct
• drop stand clip is a reproduction or has been re-plated

At the core, this is a good solid start for a Chief Project.
