Presented here for auction is an uncommon prewar Musselman front caliper brake set-up. Brake setup is complete and functioning. Original gray paint finish is present with some scratches and minor spots of paint loss. Early plastic outer brake cable housing is cracked in numerous spots with areas missing. Rubber brake pads show wear with plenty of life remaining. Comes complete with all mounting hardware for bars and fork. This set-up came off a 1933 28" Westfield camelback that was further outfitted with a Model C New Departure two-speed and some other fancy accessories. I've made no attempt at cleaning or rust removal, so you'll be free to clean it up or leave it as is to show some age. Complete, functioning, and hard-to-find setup to serve as the perfect compliment for any worthy 30s bicycle. Thank you for your interest and good luck.
