DX Klunker build by a Noob

Well I happened across this frame and decided to give myself a challenge. Completely out of my comfort zone here but will give it a go and rely on help from the group members here. Seized fork, seized bottom bracket lots of rust what’s not to love.

Well a good soap and water bath is revealing some hope for the paint.

After alot of penetrating fluid and subtle movements back and forth the fork is moving.

Moving forward as the incredibly difficult to remove parts have given up the fight.

After a bath in boiled lineseed oil and the patina looks great.

Got these wheels yesterday, Atom rear drum with 16 tooth cog. Front wheel has Works Profile BMX hub extra wide wheels beauties.
