Vintage Paintworx
I live for the CABE
Anyone who's owned one of these knows they're not very reliable.
I gave this a shot to see if it improved it at all.
Take the top end completely apart and wipe down the inside with Acetone.
Be sure to get the cylinder wall as clean as possible, mine had residue from what looked like the plunger material and old lubricant. I even wiped down the plunger a bit too.
Next I wiped the cylinder wall with fresh oil, dabbed a little on the plunger too. This is what I had laying around, but I any type of oil would do the job.
Once I assembled everything back together it definitely made a difference. Still not as good as I had expected though. Results may vary depending on how much wear is on the plunger.
I guess overall this is just a poor design, that would explain why they Weren't made for too long.
