This men's, early 1900's seat measures 10 inches long ( not including the snout spring in the front ) x 7-3/4 inches at its widest point.
It consists of wood, horsehair and leather with that spring undercarriage. Stem hold down bracket included.
The leather is intact, but needs stitching along the back and along the snout as shown. With a little time this seat could be completely stitched up by following the existing holes or could be done by a leathersmith if necessary. Period seats are getting harder to find these days.....There seems to be more bikes around with newer replacement seats.
Also, the iron springs are solid and appear to have been nickel plated at one time and could be cleaned up a bit. This is the way I bought it (uncleaned )
