Even though the V twin was the obvious way to go on these, I still like the look of the single cylinder model.
These bikes had a lever on the tool box just behind the seat tube, that operated the town and country exhaust.
You would muffle the sound when going through town, then you’d flip the lever once you got back out on the open road, and run it with the straight pipe.
