water cooled? What are the two ports at the BOTTOM of the stroke? Is there a water jacket around the actual bore? Interesting. Looks French, though. IDK!!
I am not sure Jim if it is water cooled; that thought passed through my mind as well. It is in process of being shipped so hopefully we can get it puzzled-out soon enough. Thank you for your insight.

I'm not sure but it could be a comet 2 stoke engine
Here is a mystery engine I just bought. Anyone have any idea what it maybe? That flat top cylinder head should be a clue for someone.
