This early post war OG paint Columbia straight bar I was saving for a klunker build because of the 1 yr only ( I think ) rear facing axle slots, ser # says 48 but catalog says new for 48 forward facing dropouts so who knows, straight frame with badge & front cups. $175 + shipping or local pickup or meet around LB/OC area. send message if interested because I don't always check this thread.

Very short post war run before they flipped the rear dropouts.

Weird your dropouts look earlier like a holdover from prewar, mine look later but for what it's worth mine is a earlier 48 ser. # ( M with 5 #'s ). and the 48 catalog advertises New forward facing dropouts?View attachment 1280154
I'm kinda new to the old bike community so you would know more about this than me. Thanks for your information.
