Wore out three sets of tires already!
Early / Prewar Shelby Fork Question.

Trying to save a barn find Shelby fork, missing the steer tube bearing seat. I am not sure what they are actually called? I can not find one in my parts stash to fit. However, looking closely; I am wondering if these ever had one? It looks as if the top of the fork itself is machined as a bearing seat? Can anyone shed some light on this?

You need a lower race. The shoulder you see steps the tube out a bit to let the race have some clearance coming on and off. Not sure if I have one but I can take a look for you.
