Elgin help

I have the opportunity to buy this Elgin. I know very little about bikes from this era and could use some help. Trying to determine year, model and what it might be worth. I only have the one pic. It appears to be missing the drop stand but otherwise seems complete. Any info would be helpful and appreciated. Thanks.

Sweet! Hard to see, but it looks to have the "V" badge, which would make it a '36-7. Westfield built, so the serial should start w/a letter, which is the year. I believe they started over with "A" in '36. I'd think it's worth at least $400.
