Elgin, I think.

Oops! Here's the picture of the Elgin.

Looks like a 1930’s Sears Elgin “Ladies” model, with 26” balloon tires/wheels that look odd, like on a 28" frame, (but it might have been a transition bike?). Could likely be a Westfield built (or maybe an Excelsior or Snyder), and the details and serial number on the bottom bracket would help determine both the maker and year.

Thanks everyone for the great info. I am showing the serial number and the chrome-fender. Is this stuff correct? When was she made?

Hi, @Motobike1940

M111126 is very late 1934 (Oct to Dec). It may have a frame date code under the paint above the serial number. This may be A10, A11 or A12. If you find this number, please let me know.

Here is M104612, A10, which is the closest survivor of this model to yours I know of. It gives you an idea of the original paint scheme, which may still be under the red paint. If you decide to strip it, as for advice here, and /or read the many threads on the subject.

It also shows you where the A10 date code is on this frame.

Best Regards,

Adrian
