Finally riding a big boys bike
So this piece of fruit just arrived nice and ripe to my doorstep. What is you ask? This is a 1930's Elgin Twin and or Elgin Twin 20 nicknamed "The Watermelon". If anyone could provide any insight as to which model it is, and any other info, it would be appreciated.

I have a twinn 40 I think, my research here on the Cabe showed the higher the number the more assesarys and fancier the bike. Mine has some wrong stuff on it. Still trying to find out exactly what came on a 20, 40, 60, etc. Is yours nicknamed watermelon because of the two tone paint. I still want to put it back to original (in time). There is a thread here on the Cabe about these Elgin's.

Cant really tell without the head shroud but with that rack & guard looks somewhere in the middle, altho looks pieced together with a girls sprocket and don't think they came with triple steps, frame looks a little different than my Murry built 20 so is it a Westfield built anyone?

Based on the thread, that had 6 given frame options, mine is either option 1 or 2.
