From the catalogs, Evans had a few blue colors for girls' bikes.
Metallic blue, flamboyant blue, royal blue, two-tone blue, and blue with gold outline (Olympic) were listed.

nice one! I have a few of those, one builder/custom, sliver Mens - one 100% orig, blue Womens I put on period correct lights on the blue one, they ride amazing with the springer front, the newer evanaction style than yours - The silver mens was originally green, I rec'd it already grey/silver.
Yes, on the year, I believe one is a 57 or perhaps both are. I forget - I sort of quit tracking serial numbers at this point after 50+ bicycles. . .I should catalog them at some point.
