Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
Nice original Schwinn Postwar S2 wheel set. Phantom, Panther, B6, DX, Hornet you name it...
1948-60s Center Stamped with New Departure brake and Schwinn front hub. Very nice orig
wheel set... to say the wheel set has any dings or dents is an over statement... they are so tiny
and barely noticeable that you have to really look to see them. Some very minor patina rust spots around
some spokes... most of the plating looks quite good. Tires were NOS when mounted, then sat in storage
in varying temps and on flats. The area of the Tires that sat on flat ended up with the white wall being
disfigured in those areas..more noticeable on one than the other. They inflate fine, top tread has no
wear. Would have been 3-400 tires had the long storage stint and sitting on flats not happened.
I can swap out ND sprocket to 1" pitch No extra charge if you prefer.
