Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
Nice original unrestored 1958 Schwinn Phantom, very close to the end of production 1 year shy of 59 last year bikes.
Really a true remarkable survivor. Red color is still red! Paint overall is very good, with only the rack showing some scuffing.
Fenders are incredible, darts and pinstripes are bright and clear, Excellent original late 50's Mesinger saddle, AS pedals.
For every Phantom that pops up for sale I'd say about 1 in 100 are this nice. Has not been serviced, will leave
that up to the new owner. Goodyear G3 tires hold air, a split evident on the front along the edge for a few
inches, best to replace that one although it is holding steady with strong inflation, I will include a spare
G3 Goodyear to replace this one.
