Exceptional photo of Sacramento Calif bicycle shop interior w advertising poster

Went to the Alameda Point Antiques Fair today…I was on the last row… almost finished….had found nothing to make me part with money all morning…then I spotted this c1910 photo of the interior of the Kimball-Upson Sporting Goods store in Sacramento…it’s only 7” x 5”…I usually like my photos bigger but in the photo is the best motorcycle advertising poster I’ve ever seen. Issued by Goodyear tires and I can make out that it is titled “Speed Kings of the Motorcycle World”…surrounded by head shots, no doubt all the biggest names in MC racing…you can see the YEAR of GOODYEAR at the bottom…and crowned with a board track racer illustration at top…

Great score! Nice New Departure Christmas poster on the right, Fisk Tires above. I wonder if that lucky boy was picking out his Christmas Present?

Looks like the whole stock is arch bars and motor bike frames.

I’ve been to that Alameda Point Antique fair several times over the years. Always see very interesting stuff there.
