Sold Fabulous 1894 Pneumatic Safety Bicycle $2,800

New Mexico Brant

Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
Being offer is an all original 1894 pneumatic safety frame bicycle. Thought to be a Hartford Mfr., possibly a prototype model (identified as such by Walter B. when I purchased it at the Hershey Auto Swap a couple years ago). The Robert Dean tires and front lamp (crack in lens) have been added but everything else is period and original to the bike including the amazing saddle! There is some original black paint and nickel plating remaining but much is missing. The original pedal blocks are in great shape as are the hand grips, coasting pegs, lamp bracket. The bicycle has a couple rare proprietary features including a rubber vibration dampener at the base of the seat mast, and a leather tooth wrap on the chain ring. It appears to have had a decal badge with is missing. The only markings I can find on the bicycle is on the bottom bracket: B X. Could be ridden but you may want to consider a donor saddle to preserve the OG which is in incredible condition. $2,800 plus shipping, located in Hershey, PA. Free delivery to Brimfield next week with pre-payment; also will be traveling from Pennsylvania to New Mexico in about two weeks and could meet along the way. Please PM to purchase. Kindly, Brant Mackley
