Look Ma, No Hands!
Just bought this 76 yesterday and started providing tlc. It's incredible what aluminum foil and water will do to rust. Unfortunately the handlebars are too far gone to bring back. Does anyone know how I can remove these origional grips to put on another set of handlebars I have? Thanks for looking šŸ˜€

Slide the flatest screwdriver you have under the grip and work it in at least half way and spray some windex in there. you can use the windex to help slide the screwdriver under the grip. Go slow but it will come off.

Finally riding a big boys bike
I use my air compressor, just peek the end of an air blowing attachment under the grip while holding your finger on the hole of the other grip, it will pop right off. Then use your palm to cover the hole on the other side and do it again. An extra set of hands works even better. Sometimes I use hairspray to put them back on.
