Look Ma, No Hands!
Just picked up this "Fulton Bicycle Company" "Jet Flyer" bike mainly because I wanted the Schwinn Straight Bar horn tank on it which I assumed was jammed onto this non Schwinn bike at some later date from the initial lousy photos.
But after I get to looking at it back home it has obviously been on this bike since new, the tank fits like a glove on this Fulton with its skinny lower tube and also fits equally well on my '46 fat Straight bar Schwinn, from the looks of it and its low serial number : 1885 (!) I'm guessing this was some late '50s Bike company that bought a few Schwinn tanks then built a bike around it then immediately went out of business or something, I haven't found any internet info on a "Fulton Bicycle Co." from the 1950s-1960s
has anyone here seen any other company appropriating Schwinn parts for their own evil use?

Killer score and yaknow..... those straight bar tanks are worth 500 smackers now doncha?
Why have those tanks doubled in price in less than a year? I’ve noticed people are paying a lot of money for them these days.

Yeah, i was going to pay $200 for a lousy repro but decided to hold out and monitor ebay... yikes, I've had an old '46 straightbar for about 20 years and decided I would wait till now to start wanting a tank for it!
Now i'm wondering how rare this Fulton Jet Flyer is? I wish the head badge/decal was in better shape
