New Mexico Brant
Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
Offered is a beautifully built cushion frame chain-less shaft drive bike badged King, M.C. Mfr. Co. Chicago. M.C. Mfr. Co. stands for: Monarch Cycle Mfr. Co. (thank you to David Weber for making this connection). Includes Kelly folding bars, leather grips, period saddle (leather is pulled away from frame at rear, chassis is good, and excellent restoration candidate). The bike is missing it’s left crank and pedal, the right crank and pedal are present. The front rim is wonky and likely needs replacement unless someone has some mad straightening skills; decent tire on the front, the rear early pneumatic is tattered. The bike currently is in as-found condition, besides the other points mentioned it has some scraps, scratches, small dings, wear, etc. as expected. Overall the bike presents very well, with a few parts and cleaning it’ll be a real jewel!
