Fat Franks in Monark Deep Fenders

Does anyone know if a set of 26 x 2.35 tires will fit inside a Deep set of Monark Deep Fenders without rubbing ?

I have a set on this 59 murry jet flite . they have plenty room no rubs , they do fill up the space though !

Once in a while If I make a sharp turn, I can hear a slight rubbing against the fender.
On another frame (Columbia 5-Star) I opened up the bottom rear fender just enough to allow
clearance.

They fit fine on my wife's 51 Super Deluxe.
