Had to drive 4 hours total for this. But hey it didn’t cost. No clue on bike year but the chain gaurd will be mailed to me. He forgot to get me it. I also got the original tires ( he thinks) and this Murray? Bike. Woohoo!
Updated photos. Question is what year is this? 40s I’m assuming the old tires worth anything? I think they’re Great Wall Art. Bike appears in right condition. The white fenders monarch? No idea. Thanks guys!
It might have had a tank. Here's one with the tank. Your sprocket I believe is a schwinn sweetheart and of course the seat is wrong (probably gooseneck as well, chrome looks way too shiny). Looks more like an early postwar JC Higgins than a prewar Elgin to me so I'm not sure when that badge was used?

Your saying the bike might not be a Firestone? Or just the chrome ? I’m not sure I think the bike has been parted together. All in all I like the bike but my lady kicked me off of it cause she loves the ride of it! Haha.
Firestone is just what its badged. It was built by Murray. The sprocket is not original to the bike and possibly the neck and bars but no big deal there.
