Just wondering....are they considered a truss or a springer. I think mine has both.
 
it has a spring, so I would call it a springer.
-My impression of a truss fork is that it has no suspension travel.

That is a "rat trap fork" and it could be called a springer.
They call them rat trap forks because the spring looks like the ones in the mouse traps.
-There are many springer fork types like cantilevers, bee hives and Monark-styled.
