Riding a '38 Autocycle Deluxe
Curiosity has gotten the better of me. I don’t see the model number on this bike in the Spaceliner thread. I think it’s a Flightliner. What do you guys think?

The serial number on this bike is 502 - 46001 - 429027

I believe its a 60's something Flightliner. I believe that the 502 was Sears. Im not an expert by any means. You have more knowledge ( past post I read from you) than I.

I know that 502 is a Sears and Roebuck. The rest of the serial number is a mystery. What tips me off is this rack was only used on the Flightliner and Spaceliner bikes.

I know that usually Spaceliners had rocket ship reflectors on the rack, or an optional tail light. But this rack doesn’t have any factory holes for either of those. It’s totally blank. Plus, this looks like a pre-65 frame. It appears to have never had a springer.

Suggest you look under the Middleweight Bikes section here, there's tons of information on these bikes there.

Glad that we all pretty much agree it’s a Flightliner. Now, has anyone seen a Flightliner without lights or reflectors on the rack? No holes for them either.
