Flying star help.

I just picked up a straightbar MW tonight with a Bendix aviation setup. Has a w217?? Serial on rear drop out. I dated it 56/57 and I pulled up the cats and couldn’t Find a MW straightbar being offered. Anyone out there have some info. Anything would help. thanks guys.

Fenders were house painted but I did a test strip on them and all the OG paint is still under there!

Hmm, not sure about this being a Flying Star, but you never know. I had a 56 same color with open bar frame. According to the catalog, 55-56 were open bar and 57 was Cantilever. Never seen the FS in a straightbar version. Wander if it could be a Spifire with FS Chainguard?

I'm thinking Spitfire frame and Flying Star guard. The Flying Star never had a straight bar frame.
