Cruisin' on my Bluebird
If I read the serial number code correctly, this original paint Schwinn was made between September 1st and 3rd, 1953. The battery acid feasted on the shroud, but otherwise looks pretty good for its age. The U.S. Royal Master tires have been holding air for a couple weeks, but should be replaced for safety - white walls might look better anyway. A few fender dents but the frame and seat both look good. From the condition of the pedals, it looks to have sat for a good portion of its life.
It's not perfect, but a nice ride that should clean up pretty well.
Asking $800 or best offer, plus shipping. I'd prefer a local pickup or delivery in person - free delivery in the New England area (as long as your timing is flexible). If you do need me to ship, it may take a week or so for me to get it packed up snugly.
