Wore out three sets of tires already!
I have a very nice Schwinn Phantom tail light stop light unit. This is the early 1948 to 1950 or so unit, made by Delta, with the stop light switch for the New Departure and Mussalman hubs. The unit is NOS with a really nice paint on the casing. This version of the light has the frosted outer lens with the dark red Stimsonite AGA center lens. There are a few shelf wear scratches on the case from storage and the switch and rivets have just a couple dark spots on them from age. This has the metal switch for the light which still has really great plating for a 75 year old part. The light has been tested and works.
The inside of the light is nice also, there is no corrosion on the metal on the contacts, the battery tray, or on the mounting brackets for mounting the light on the rack. The U shaped hub switch with original wire are tucked inside the battery tray, but with this one I do not have the original bag with the contact spring for the hub switch and the mounting screws for the rack. Hopefully someone has the contact spring and needs a nice light to make a complete set for thier bike. I don't have the original instruction sheet for mounting the switch to the hub, but if you have an early Schwinn Phantom, you probably know how it mounts already.
