Frame ID assistance please

Friends,

Looking for assistance identifying this frame:
Fits 28" wheel
has bottle cap badge hole in 4 1/2" head tube
I have the original rain gutter fenders
Would like to acquire correct fork as I'd like to turn this into a rider. The frame is straight and solid.

I'm guessing Dayton or Davis.....

Looks like a Dayton to me.
Fork looks like this.

Anyone seen a double D stamp above the serial number before? The axle adjuster attachment looks like a good clue as well. Anyway, I have a sweet set of woodies and only lack a fork to build this baby up.

Never seen the double stamp. The chain adjusters are standard on Dayton models

With the “4” stamping (upside down), would that suggest a 1914 date of manufacture?

I've found several spots on this frame with traces of a cobalt blue color over a red primer. Perhaps it's a Yale?
