Almost complete bicycle, without bars, grips, saddle, seat post, pedals, tires and parking stand.
Serial no. 578280 (stamped on seat tube top right side)
Frame size: 18 inch (crank center to seat tube top).
Top tube length: 21-1/2 inch (seat tube center to head tube center).
Tube diameters: 1 inch top tube, seat tube and down tube; 1-15/32 inch head tube; 1-3/4 inch BB shell; 1-1/16 inch fork steerer tube (reinforced); 13/16 inch seat post (not included).
Front fork ends: 90mm O.L.D. spacing with round hole tips.
Rear track ends: 112mm O.L.D. spacing with adjusting screws.
Frame markings: “G” (stamped on BB shell); “D” (steerer tube base); “99” or “66” (right side rear track end).
Head tube has three screw holes for missing Iver Johnson headbadge.
Colors: red frame, fork and fenders; partialy repainted original base color.
Decals: head tube spread eagle on classical architecture with globe and shield crest, missing logo; seat tube bike shop crest shape (slightly off-center), “…’s” “C...ORKS"; front end arrows pointing rearward on top tube and down tubes, pointing down on fork blades.
Chainset: Iver Johnson two-piece crankset, with triangular taper axle, 7-inch crank arms, 26-tooth inch-pitch sprocket with 5-star pattern; bottom bracket with press-in bearing cups 1-9/16 inch outside diameter; Star USA #46 retainer bearings with 8 x 5/16 inch balls. Diamond roller chain (#45?) 3/16 inch wide, 1 inch pitch.
Wheels: 28 x 1-1/2 inch wood core steel clad tubular tire rims, 33.5mm width; 36 Torrington spokes, double butted (14-16-14 gauge), cross-4 pattern. New Departure hubs, front and rear Model D coaster brake with 10-tooth inch-pitch sprocket and lockring. Tires not included.
Fenders: matching red front and rear with ribbed shape and flat braces fitted at hub axles.
Total weight: 24 lbs. 12 oz. as is.
