pinch bolts on the bottom bracket, really early, pre 1900 I would guess.

Best guess (probably wrong) Columbia/Pope. Somebody will be able to give a positive i.d. be patient.
So many early makers with subtle differences. Need a better expert than I.

I agree with Jesse McCauley that it is a Crescent. I had a woman's Crescent shaft drive and comparing my photos of that bike to this one the frame and drive system style matches the Crescent I had exactly.
