Gene Autry 24" Girls Bicycle - Need info

I am doing a partial resto. on a Gene Autry 24" girls bike. Thanks to Cabe members I have missing parts. The handlebar that came with the bike is only 17 1/2" wide at the outside of the bar ends. Just doesn't like correct - seems too narrow. Anybody have a similar bike that you can give me handlebar dimension. Thanks much. Ed

Can't give you a correct answer but the Hopalong Cassidy bikes had the same handlebars for 20 and 24 inch bikes so maybe yours is correct.
